To fully immerse ourselves in nature, we need to understand the beautiful symphony that nature plays. Take a tour around the coffee plantation and surrounding jungle where we’ll introduce you to our native, traditional edible plants and herbs. Learn about the magic healing powers of these plants whilst we share our knowledge on the practice of food as medicine. We also introduce the process of growing our organic Arabica coffee beans, adopting the biodynamic farming traditions to work in harmony with the land.
JUNGLE TREKKING
Experience the exhilaration of the mountain air and totally immerse yourself in nature, connecting to the intelligence of Bali’s wild jungle. Take an hour trek with us into the jungle and arrive at the perfect spot to swim, meditate, or simply soak in the healing energy of this amazing land.
JATILUWIH RICE TERRACES
The beautiful Jatiluwih UNESCO World Heritage site lies just 2 kilometers down the mountain from our estate. Get lost in the 600 hectares of rolling rice terraces that flow along the hillside of the Batukaru mountain range.
The terraces use the ancient subak irrigation system, which allows farmers to fully respect the land, springs and grow beautiful organic produce. This red rice is a non-genetically modified seedling which is harvested yearly. There are numerous benefits to eating this rice, such as it being high in fiber, antioxidants and vitamin B6. Enjoy this nutrious and delicious rice while you dine with us on the estate.
